Before your visit

General Info to Patients

What to bring, how appointments work, and answers to the questions we hear most often.

Bring your reports

Old X-rays, MRI/CT films and prescriptions help us decide faster — and often avoid repeat tests.

Arrive 15 minutes early

Registration and vitals take a few minutes. Patients are seen in token order.

Book ahead

Call or WhatsApp to get a token. Walk-ins are seen as time permits.

Emergencies

For fractures or accidents, go to the nearest casualty first and call us on the way.

Appointments & visits

Appointments are recommended so that you get a time slot and token. Walk-in patients are seen in between booked patients, so the wait may be longer. Call or WhatsApp the clinic, or use the appointment request form on this website.

Please bring all previous X-rays, MRI/CT films and reports, discharge summaries and the medicines you are currently taking. If you have diabetes or blood pressure, bring your latest sugar / BP readings.

A first consultation usually takes 15–20 minutes. If an X-ray or blood test is needed, it is done in the clinic and the doctor reviews it the same day.

Sunday is a holiday for OPD. For emergencies such as fractures or accidents, go to the nearest casualty and call the clinic number — the team will guide you.

Surgery & recovery

No. Most joint and back problems improve with medicines, physiotherapy, weight control and lifestyle changes. Surgery is advised only when these fail or when the problem (for example a displaced fracture or a torn ACL in a young athlete) needs it.

Usually 3–4 days. Patients start standing and walking with a walker within 24 hours. Stitches are removed around day 14, and most people walk independently in 4–6 weeks.

Desk work is usually possible in 2–3 weeks after keyhole surgery and 4–6 weeks after joint replacement. Driving is allowed once you can brake safely without pain — typically 6 weeks after knee replacement.

Yes. Physiotherapy is half of the treatment. The surgery fixes the joint; physiotherapy brings back strength and movement. We give you a written home programme and review it at every follow-up.

Costs & insurance

Yes. Cashless treatment is available at the hospital for most major insurance companies and TPAs. Bring your insurance card, Aadhaar and policy details. Our desk helps with pre-authorisation.

The cost depends on the implant type, one or both knees, room category and your medical condition. You will get a written estimate after the consultation — there are no hidden charges.

Review visits within 7 days of the first consultation for the same problem are free. Post-operative reviews are part of the surgery package.
